This map layer classifies the countries into whether they produced, possibly produced or kept stockpiles of landmines in 2017.

Example of how to read the map:

In 2017, Finland possessed 16,292 stored landmines.

The following figure shows the five countries with the largest stockpiles of landmines in the year 2017.

    The Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor is an initiative providing research for the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) and the Cluster Munition Coalition (CMC). International Campaign to Ban Landmines - ICBL) and the Cluster Munition Coalition Since 1999, they publish reports on landmines, cluster munitions and other explosive remnants of war on an annual basis. The ICBL is the author of these reports; Mines Action Canada has been the editor since 2004.
